You are at the right place.
At VL, we don’t require a profession of faith, baptism, or a letter moving your membership from another church to join. We simply invite you to attend one of our VL 101 lunches, meet our team, hear our history, identity, vision, and strategy, then decide if this is the place for you. If you have not attended one of our VL 101 lunches, we encourage you to register for our next quarterly lunch to do so.
For those ready to become a member, welcome to your orientation day. At VL, we know the power of mile-markers, rituals, and rites of passage. So, in our ever-evolving way, we want to invite you into a ceremony of sorts to mark your special occasion.
At VL, we ask every member to consider how they can contribute to the ongoing evolution of our spiritual collective.

If you are up for this and you align with our common point of interest (waking up together), then welcome to the VL collective. To make it official, simply fill out the information below. You know who we are, now we want to know who you are. We will contact you within the week about an upcoming photo. With your permission, we will use your story and image to introduce you to our larger collective. Look for it on the screens during our pre-service times on Sunday mornings.

Serve
We believe we already contain the most important assets we need to create a safe space for the world to wake up. Because of this, we intentionally keep our leadership team lean and mean. We believe a staff position for every need disempowers the people. Our team is not here to do spirituality for you, we are here to do it alongside you. We know you have so much wisdom, insight, talent, passion, and unrecognized gifts to offer the world and we want to give you space to work that out.
Every week a handful of volunteers make our gathering possible. Our Sunday volunteer teams prepare coffee, lead music, replace light bulbs, run slides, work the sound board, record videos, read stories to kids, and so much more. At VL, there are currently eight areas you can volunteer:
